Static seals are, in contrast to dynamic seals, in immovable (static / quasi static) components for use and cause no or slight relative movements. Thea are mostly used in the sealing of housings, flanges, covers as well as hydraulic and pneumatic systems as supportive components of dynamic seals.
Our product range for static seals includes following:
✔ O-rings, X rings
✔ support, flat gasket rings
✔ Rubber profiles
✔ sealing plates
✔ Cords, Cord-rings
✔ form Article / drawing parts
✔ packings
✔ rubber metal parts
✔ Cover seals
We offer our customers a wide variety of dimensions, materials and manufacturing tolerances.
Developments and interpretation of seals according to customer specifications for a variety of applications are part of our service program.
The function, durability and efficiency of hydraulic and pneumatic components based directly on the proper selection of the sealing profile and the material as a function of the prevailing operating conditions. A reliable seal is essential, because the force is transmitted by pressurized fluids or air, and any leak (leakage) affects the functionality and efficiency of these systems extremely negative, and can lead to massive environmental damage.
✔ A wide range of hydraulic and pneumatic seals in standard and on request in special designs
✔ The design and supply of complete sealing kits for hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders, seal kits for pneumatic cylinders at operating temperatures up to 500 ° C
✔ All standard and special profiles are available in a variety of different materials
Radial shaft seals are necessary, as the name suggests, for the sealing of rotating components such as shafts, hubs and axles and are mostly used in drive technology and mechanical engineering, for example in electric motors, gearboxes and pumps.
Axial seals and V-rings are mainly used in combination with rotary shaft seals. They are often used as ballast seal elements as an additionally seal against dirt, dust, grease and water spray from the outside.
For the repair of worn-out rotary shafts we normally use shaft cover sleeves. They are a cost effective alternative for replacement and a cost reducing exchange of the worn shaft, as they are simply pushed over the worn tread.
To ensure a friction-free operation, a radial shaft seal or axial seal must be adapted to different operating conditions. These include:
✔ diameter and speed of the shaft
✔ temperature
✔ pressure
✔ dirt waste from outside
✔ dirt accumulation in the sealed unit
✔ media to be sealed (lubricating oils or greases, other fluid, paste or
gaseous media)
By considering these factors when designing the sealing components, a significantly improve machine downtime can be achieved, and reduce maintenance costs.
We offer our customers:
✔ a wide range of shaft seals in standard and on request in
special profiles.
✔ all standard and special profiles are available in a variety of diverse
materials.
✔ development and modifications of shaft seals according to customer specifications.
✔ through cooperation with competent suppliers can we offer our
customers short delivery times.
Especially under extreme operating conditions (high pressures, temperatures, and aggressive media) a safe and trouble-free operation should be ensured to avoid costly machine downtime and possible environmental damage. In such applications, the seal shouldn’t be a vulnerable part in the system, therefore we offer many of our sealing systems in very durable materials:
✔ high-performance plastics such as PBI, PEEK and PTFE
✔ PTFE-coated elastomers
✔ FFKM elastomers
✔ Plug packings
